5 Tadpoles

I used a grocery shopping bag. I drew underwater plants on blue paper and glued it on the bottom flap side of the bag. I then used an exacto knife to cut the picture where the bottom flap/fold is. Illustration 1. Before laminating I then opened the bottom fold and glued the 5 frogs. Illustration 2.

I then laminated the bag - well actually I used packaging tape to laminate it - that way I could hold open the bottom falp and make sure that got laminated also.

Place Velvro on the bag for the tadpoles. Recite the 5 Tadpoles poem. As you recite poem pull off tadpole and place in bag. When you get to end of poem and all the tadpoles are in the bag - open up the bottom flap to reveal the 5 frogs.
