The sensory table with deer corn, some cups for pouring, and the scale for measuring are a favorite activity.

Science Center: Indian corn setting in a shallow dish with some water. In a few days the corn will start sprouting.

Variety of gourds in our science center garner a lot of attention, discussion, and close observation.

We painted monsters after reading Go Away Big Green Monster.

We used construction paper scraps to make a monster of our own. I took their dictation and we will make this into a class book.

After reading "The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything" we reinacted the story on our felt board. We also enjoyed listening to the story on tape while reading along.
